BUSH TRACK TO THE BEACHES

This is a fairly typical stretch of the bush track to our beaches and one or two spots on the lake shore. The track winds through the very pretty. natural forests of the Nadgee Nature Reserve, and lyre birds, wallabies, possums and wombats are commonly spotted along the way.

Some parts of the track can be rough at times, depending on the recent weather conditions, but National Parks must ensure that it remains drivable in a 2-wheel drive vehicle. Even at its worst, there's never anything you can't drive through or around at a sensible speed.

Greenglades, the closest beach, is about 4.5km from the park, while the car parks on the estuary and at Baycliff are 4.5km further - a total of 9km from the park.

A drive to the beach can take anything from 5 to 20 minutes, depending on your vehicle and your driving skills!
